You may have noticed that the forum URL has changed from .com to .info. Please be aware that this in no way affects the forums function or your access to it and you may see it change back and forth from time to time. The entire site is simply being forwarded to another domain FJCC owns, where a mirror copy of the forum has been saved.

This is being done for two reasons:

1) To keep the forum up and active during maintenance.

2) To test the planned upgrade of the forum software to the next version (4.0).

Unfortunately, the newer version is drastically different and will require several weeks (months?) to convert and revise, given my personal time availability. Much of the current forum is highly customized and those parts may or may not function properly after the upgrade and will require overhauling to function again.

This upgrade may also impact the add-on programs that have been incorporated over time if the original developer did not make a compatible upgrade for the new version. That part is out of my control but I will do my best to provide updates before hand if things need to be saved on your end.

Either way, the benefits of upgrading to the newer software far outweigh what might be lost (featurewise) and will allow the forum to remain active with the future standards and software changes that are being developed in the technology industry.

When the changes have been made and testing has completed, I will post an announcement outlining what changes will appear when the new site goes live. There is currently no established timeline for this. I hope you continue to enjoy the forum while the new version is being developed.
